Hussein Kanani, CA

Hussein Kanani, CA is the Principal of Kanani Chartered Accountancy.  Hussein was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and is a graduate of the University of Calgary and the University of Saskatchewan, obtaining the Bachelor of Commerce (BComm - Accounting) degree, and the Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree, respectively.  He then obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Hussein has over 10 years of experience as an accountant in Calgary.  He obtained his professional experience at Ernst & Young LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Calgary, Alberta, starting in 2001.  During his time with these firms, he provided financial statement audit and review services, and corporate tax preparation services to a variety of private companies, small businesses, publicly listed entities, and service organizations spanning various industries, including: retail, oil & gas, health care, information technology, and many others.
